Official rally results service. More…
RallyScore is the online view onto Patrick McCollum's Rally Results System.
All times on the website are provisional except for those in the uploaded PDF which, as it states, is the official final results.
This website operates off the back of the official results system, which in turn is driven by feeds from the timing clocks or the timecards carried by the competitors. Updates to the website may therefore be applied after time controls with card collects and after those times are fed into and processed by the official results system. It depends on the format of the rally as to how often the website is updated; it may be after every stage, or it may be after a loop of stages.
The results system relies on the mobile phone networks to update to the website. Therefore, as is sometimes the case, if a rally is in an area that has weak or non-existant mobile phone network then updates to the website may be affected.
Users of this website do not need to constantly refresh for the latest content. Results are pushed to the website and the user is duly notified of the new information. This is only possible when the user's browser has a reasonable internet connection. For a demo please visit the Demo Rally.
When the user's browser does not have a connection to the internet this website operates offline. No updates will be received but the user can browse any information already received. The user may clear stored data for RallyScore from this browser.
